Hop hop hop!

25th June - 27th June
The days in яёĐάЙǥ

Hop hop hop... Hop to the bus station. Bought the bus ticket@RM39 each and off we go! Where to? Redang.. again (: Reached Kuala Terengganu around 5 in the morning and met up with Cole and her friends- Ser Lyn, JJ, Adeline, Jo, JH and...hmmm, his name is hard to remember. So they went to the jetty but Cole, my sis and I stayed back here at KT because Cole was waiting for her dad to bank in for her. We went for breakfast at Chinatown, at this place. We LOVE their cute bun(I didn't take picture! Damn..). It's simply simple yet filling, with a side order of half-boiled egg. They toast the small buns and put aside is some kaya and a slice of semi-frozen butter. You're suppose to spread the kaya and then put the butter in between. The butter will melt in your mouth when you take a bite, the saltiness of the butter contrast with the sweetness of kaya. I missed it so much! ): It's RM1.80? RM1.40? I'm not sure...

The tauke put his family's pictures up there.

Cole and I, standing in front of the restaurant.

Wandering around after breakfast.

This is the Kampung Jetty in Berjaya side(the boring side, more for peace and serenity, not happening). We have to take another ferry trip to long beach.

We walked along the beach. Stopped by here:

Asked for the rate and it was incredibly cheap @RM100 per room per night with air-cond and attached bathroom. Break the share and it's only... wait, I need time... RM67 per person(for 3 of us: Cole, my sis and I) for 2 nights.

In the evening, we played volleyball and sand. It was kinda fun, too much laughter to bare with. Bathed at Redang Bay because there's no water heater in Redang Lagoon. Hehe...

This is where we normally eat, Summerpoint, whenever I go Long Beach during my training. They have beach party occasionally, very nice (:

Chillin' out after dinner, under the stars and the moon.

Woke up early morning to join the others who are staying in Redang Bay for snorkeling. Supposed to cost us RM20 per snorkeling trip, I think.Instead, we got to go for freeee~~ We befriended with the guys yesterday from Lagoon that checked us in(A way to get things for free). They asked us to join them, FOC, when we were renting our snorkeling mask @RM10 and fin/flipper from Redang Bay @RM10. Sometimes it's good to be a girl. (forgotten to take the water-proof camera case, didn't take photos from snorkeling. sob)

Evening activity for today is........ FRISBEE!!! It's soooooo fuuuuun~~!!! Haha. Got to know some new friends too (: Then went on to volleyball with some other tourists. It was fun, too (:
It were all about sweating and having fun! You can play frisbee, volleyball, jogging, frolicking, snorkeling, night swimming... This is what we did during the evening. Then we were in the room chatting, making jokes, blabbing, stoning.

I helped Cole style her hair. Let's take picture!

After cam-whoring session, we all went out and had some drinking/ truth session. Then we went back to sleep. They all woke up darn early, to see sunrise. Cole and I continued sleeping. But before the sun rises, they all left after seeing this...

which they actually missed the ACTUAL sunrise.
They thought that's called sunrise, some light shining out. How funny... My sister stayed tho.

Training ended: 13th June 2009; 1600hr
Training place: Berjaya Redang Beach Resort; Front office & Housekeeping
Feeling: Holiday!!! Freedom!!! Backpack!!! Laos here I come!!!

Day1

Reached Terengganu after 6 hours of night bus. Horrible, I hate bus! Couldn't sleep, was too cold and the seat was hard. Reached around 5am I guess. In the bus station, a malay guy approached cole n I. He was kinda irritating, seriously.
He tried to con us cab fare to Merang Jetti, which we were so not going, but we didn't know.
"You are a really pretty girl, I mean it from the bottom of my heart, really... I mean it... from the bottom of my heart, you are really cute and pretty girl!" The driver said to Cole.
And I was thinking "Really? You trying to bluff her ah...This wont work on me. You thought every girl also like sweet talk? No man! you're wrong!!!!!"
He kept talking and talking and blabbing, until a girl came and tell him off, thank you girl C: Then we met a bunch of Taylorians, here for training too. Then only we know we are suppose to go to Shahbandar Jetti to take a complimentary ferry ride. Thank goodness no need to pay a freaking 100ringgit. Then later on we walked to the Jetti with the girl saviour and another trainee, Lim, she met in 7-11, I guess...It's just a short walk tho.
After an hour and 45 minutes, finaly we reached Readang! It was so......... isolated! There's basically only a village, few malay restaurants, a primary school and Berjaya Redang Beach & Spa Resort(Both seperated; Spa is nearer to Jetti, still under renovation and Beach is at the far end by the beach, where we are all gonna work.)

Day2
Orientation/ briefing/ boring talks... tour round the resort

Day3
Quarters cleaning up session

Day4

Day15

Day 29

Day 71
O yea! Training is finally finished... Had horrible time in housekeeping. I hate housekeeping so so so so so much!!! Start packing!

Day 72
Slept by the beach, under the stars and moon. went back around 6 and continue sleeping on the bed under the ceiling and fan. Went jungle trekking to another side of the beach, long beach, with Cole. My phone was too excited so it went for a one-second soaking in the river-sea water. There goes my phone*sob* Actually I was holding my phone with my right hand and when I wanted to cross the river to go into the jungle, my slipper came off. Just when I was trying to grab it, I lose balance and I used my right hand to support myself, Jialat liao!
When we're on the way back, my slipper broke! My goodness!! I sacrificed my phone for a broken slipper. My unlucky day...

Stayed back until Monday, which is on the 15th. Flew back with Kumar and Air Asia. And Cole went backpacking alone...
